Loved it! Sladye is nanny to 3 small children whose mother is in the military. When she has to go spend a year overseas, her cop brother decides to show up out of the blue to 'be there for the kids'. The sparks fly between Sladye and Drake, and at first not in a good way.
I enjoyed the family dynamic of this story and watching Drake realize, not only how hard it was to care for the 3 kids, but how good Sladye was at it. I suppose Sladye is very feminine in a sense--being the child caretaker, a great good, obsessive house cleaner, etc. But this doesn't bother me in a m/m romance. In fact, I like it. I think we all have male and female traits, whatever our gender, and the best couples balance out either other's strengths and weaknesses.
The development of the romance was slow and genuine and the sex was hot. I liked how honest Sladye was; he had a strong sense of self-worth and was no shrinking violet. The ending was sweet. A full five smackers from me.
